SPRING REFRESH : TARGET

As I recently combed through my wardrobe trying to find something to wear for the day I noticed my closet was lacking some key pieces for spring. With the temperatures warming up slowly day by day it was time for me to source a few staples to carry me through spring and early summer. While running errands I stopped by Target to pick up a few grocery staples and casually strolled by the clothing sections.

One key piece I was missing in my wardrobe was a classic denim jacket. This one from their brand Universal Threads is a beautiful example of a budget friendly piece that is both stylish + trendy with it’s 90’s style fit. Shorts have never really been something I grab for in my closet first but I’m wanting to change that especially on hot, sunny days when pants just aren’t comfortable. My eye went straight to this pair of yellow striped shorts as a fun little pop of color. I plan to style them with a classic white tee, my denim jacket, a pair of slides, and a woven basket tote perfect for cooler mornings at the farmer’s market.

Texture is something I keep craving to add into my wardrobe and these black high waisted eyelet shorts are so flattering + comfortable. These are so chic and versatile and I plan to get so many wears out of them. Normally I’m not much of a pattern gal but subtle stripes are a way to my heart and offer such a classic + traditional vibe. This pair of linen drawstring striped pants are probably my favorite spring find to date as they are so comfortable and easy to just throw on and look put effortlessly put together.

Here’s to warm + sunny days ahead.
