DESIGNING THIS YEAR’S GARDEN
Gardening is one thing I never thought I would be good at. It has brought so much calm into my world and helps melt the daily stressors away. As our temperatures here in the midwest are starting to warm up a bit, it makes me so eager to sink my hands back into the dirt. The last two growing seasons I have only grown flowers. Experimenting with different varieties came with it’s challenges but I learned so much in the process which is what gardening is all about.

REIMAGINING OUR BACKYARD
As January has come and gone, I’m eagerly waiting to get out into the garden and start prepping the flower beds for new growth. As we all know in the midwest this is still a ways a way but a girl can dream right?! Last week I selected and purchased a few seed varieties for what I want to plant in my raised flower beds.

IN MY GARDENING ERA
This spring I was inspired by one of my best friend’s Kristin to pursue a new hobby. As I craved for warmer temperatures and everything to bloom again I reached out to her in search of some insight into how to start growing flowers. Her passion and work ethic for her garden inspired me to create one in our own backyard. After careful research and many texts later I chose seeds that would be ideal for a small cut flower garden.
