OCTOBER MOOD BOARD

October is here and is flying by. Fall is officially here and the temperatures are cool + crisp. This time of year is one of the busiest times for us as Harvest is in full swing and we are in full holiday shopping preparation mode at the shop. It’s the season for funky pumpkins, cozy knits, and spooky movies. Currently I am inspired by cozy layers. After my recent closet edit, my main focus has been swapping out my inexpensive basics for more higher quality ones that I will have for years to come. Quality vs quantity is my motto going into the end + even the upcoming new year. Basics are my bread and butter of how I start to style my daily outfits. Monochromatic + tonal layering is trending for the fall and winter seasons. My samba obsession is still going strong and the comfort + versatility they offer is amazing. Pops of red are also huge for fall so I have been slowly incorporating tiny pops of color into my looks as well. Dark denim is IT for fall with little to no distressing.
