SPRING WANTS AS OF LATE.

As we wait for the last of the winter weather to die down I find myself longing for all things spring. My eagerness to get back out to the garden is at an all time high as the snow continues to fall softly from the sky. While I wait for the warmer temperatures to push through the cold I have been loving all the new spring pieces that are starting to come out from some of my favorite brands. As my body transitions into this new chapter of pregnancy + motherhood everything fits differently which has become quite the challenge. Stretchy waistbands and drawstrings have been my go-to but I am wanting to feel more put together as we head into the next warmer season.

My love for a bold shoe or handbag hasn’t faded a bit throughout the years and this year I am wanting to add a few neutral pieces that are both classic and timeless that will carry into the summer months beautifully. Eyelet details have always been the perfect spring staple but adding a pattern with the eyelet is pure genius. Denim will always be a forever love of mine and mixing lighter washes with creamy tones is revolutionary but timeless. Something that would be hard to get sick of. I love seeing a fresh take on such a classic piece that a lot of us already have in our closets - the trench coat. A cropped version is such a fun way to add class and layers to any outfit.
