SLOW + STEADY

This week has been quite full with meetings, paperwork, and endless calls. Within all the chaos has been sweet new beginnings to things in the works that I can’t wait to share more on. The constant grind is something I am slowly stepping away from to create more calmness and am going to continue this focus in the coming months. We weren’t meant to do all the things at once and reminding myself of this is crucial. The warmer temperatures we have been having in the midwest is a sweet ode to spring and I’m excited for the new season to come.

As of this week I now am a multi-business owner which is quite exciting. N. Eden Creative is in full swing and I’m excited to watch it continue to organically grow. Focusing on a slow + steady approach these days has been a game changer for my anxiety + energy levels. I’m excited to work with a bigger brand next week as I have the honor of shooting their lifestyle brand photos for spring/summer 24’. A lot of planning has gone into this project and excited to see it come to fruition.

Over a year ago I started to paint as a way to destress from my busy work life. I’ve found it to be so soothing + a way to be creative in a different form than designing jewelry. After much trial and error with different mediums I have finally found my preferred medium + process. Currently I am working on my first collection of original art pieces that will be showcased at a private showcase event this May as well as developing a place online for the collection to be available to purchase. The collection is inspired by the beauty + stillness the water provides + creating calm through texture and tone. Getting out of my comfort zone has been challenging for me in the past but looking forward to this new opportunity to share my creativity with others.

Here’s to a slow and steady pace.

x Nikki
