WEEKEND WANTS : VOL. I
Pastels aren’t legendary for spring but light blue + green tones are catching my eye as of late. Spring is for renewal and new beginnings. It’s a fresh start to keep things light and bright which is what we all are craving for right now. I want to embrace the light + bright look and incorporate it into my home, wardrobe, and beauty routine. Keeping things simple + classic is what I have been craving after the winter blues and wanted to share my weekend wants with all of you in hopes of inspiring you to add light and brightness this spring.
Light Blue Floral Oversized Crinkle Dress | The beautiful light blue hues mixed with a butter floral print is the perfect combination for spring. An oversized fit is just want I am after these days with a growing bump. This dress is so feminine without screaming it’s for spring. It’s classic + effortless and I’m thinking of snagging it for my baby shower.
La Roche Posay Cicaplast Lip Balm | I have been using this brand for a few months now and am completley in love with how it makes my skin look and feel. Hydration is key for me right now and I don’t go anywhere without this lip balm. It’s so moisturizing as my lips are like the Sahara desert right now from the cold + dry temperatures.
Jeffery Campbell Mimz Jelly Sandals | Jelly sandals and flats were all the rage for spring + summer 24’ and they are back and better than ever for the upcoming warmer months. I didn’t take the plunge last year as I like to stay more classic than trendy but a few people I follow and trust have been raving about this pair. The clear hue will match with anything offering a more casual vibe to your spring and summer looks. Not to mention they are surprisingly comfortable and definitely will be a staple shoe I’ll be adding to my wardrobe.
Versed Water Rush Intensive Hydrating Serum | This brand is new to me and I was pleased with how clean it is after doing a little research on the brand itself. Not to mention they just added clean beauty into their assortment and I had to snag a few products to try like their Skin Tint + Illuminating Stick that I’m so excited to try and will report back my thoughts. This hydrating serum has been the perfect addition to my already simple skincare routine and I’ve found it so moisturizing and non-irritating to my rosacea prone skin. Definitely a saving grace for adding moisture to my skin wherever I can and with it being so gentle I am certainly a fan of this brand.
Threshold Ficus Plant | Simple is better in my book when it comes to home decor. Adding a little green for the new season is going to bring life to our space until we can get out into the garden again soon.
H&M White Oxford Shirt | A crisp, white, oversized button down is such a staple in a wardrobe. The endless ways to style and it’s ability to carry you into each season truly makes it one of the most versatile pieces you can own. Also who doesn’t love a brand new crisp cotton button down - such a mood booster.
Mandarin + Guava Candle | Strolling through Target earlier this week and I stumbled upon this beautiful candle sitting next to my beloved Strawberry Musk one I have been obsessed with lately. It has such a fresh and clean smell perfect for lighting on a windows open kind of day. It’s an inexpensive way to elevate your home a bit for spring.
Banana Republic Factory Mid-Rise Tapered Jean | Anything with a drawstring is my best friend right now. Comfort is key in this season and this pair of tapered denim is exceptional. The wash with a white drawstring is so classic for spring and summer and can be paired with so many different pieces.
L’occitane Almond Hand Cream | For Christmas I was gifted the original hand cream from this brand and it has grew to be my favorite. I’ve been dying to try this almond scented one as everyone raves about the almond body oil. Can’t wait to try this once my other cream is empty.
A New Day Light Green Short Sleeve Tee | This is the second color way I own in this tee and I am obsessed with this inexpensive but quality closet staple. The light green tone is the perfect for spring but can still act as a neutral in your wardrobe and for under ten dollars you can’t beat it.
Natural Wood Terrarium | Traditionally this would be used to house small plants but I think it would be beautiful to hold an ivory pillar candle and to be styled more like a hurricane. It brings a natural element with the wood base and could be used indoors or outdoors.
